- Isabel’s character Alice is a Decepticon that pretends to be a co-ed of Sam and is very forward in her advances on him.
- Teresa Palmer was originally cast as Alice
- The Decepticon Alice is classified as a Pretender, a robot that maintains a bio-organic shell.
- Continuity error: When Sam is kissing Alice on the bed there’s a fan in the window, but when Mikaela comes back into the room and throws the box with Wheelie in it at Alice the window is closed and the fan is leaning against the wall.
- Isabel only has about 5 minutes screen time
- Isabel was reportedly recommended for this role by Steven Spielberg, after she worked with him on The Pacific.
- The effects used for Alice’s transformation took 3 months to make.

» Isabel – “Megan [Fox] was really sisterly and warm to me when I began working on the production. She was aware that it is intimidating coming onto a new set where everyone is established, and she was cool.”

» Isabel – “Working with Michael Bay and having Steven Spielberg producing – it was kind of surreal and awesome all wrapped up in one.”

» Isabel – “I was really intrigued by the character because there is more than meets the eye – literally. She’s a layered character, and that’s interesting for any actor to play really something different from yourself and to understand and relate to her even though she might have darker intentions. She’s fun to play.”

» Isabel – “Running in high heels! I never wear heels because for me it’s all about comfort and practicality so Michael had to show me how to do it (laughs). He told me the trick was to run on your tippy toes and it worked.” – on the hardest part of the shoot.

» Isabel – “I can’t speak for the rest of the cast, but they had a lot of scenes where they’re communicating with the robots, and they are basically talking to a tennis ball on a stick while a voice is coming from somewhere behind that. It’s odd, because as an actor you’re listening and responding to who’s in front of you, and you don’t get that with this kind of filming.”

» Isabel – “I think that was one of the most challenging things, the re-creating of scenes. Michael’s very flexible and he likes to completely improvise, so the scenes would evolve as we went along.”

» Isabel – “We’ve all come to know each other closely over the filming, and he’s got a completely different persona to what he has on set. He hangs out, he’s such a ‘hang with the cast’ kinda guy, every single dinner he can possibly organise and have us come and meet up, he will organise.” – on Michael Bay

» Isabel – “Alice is a student at Princeton University. My scenes are predominantly with Shia LaBeouf and Ramon Rodriguez. An interesting relationship develops between myself and Shia, but I’m not allowed to give too much of that away.”

» Isabel – “The character of Alice is more the seductress. She’s got mysterious intentions that we don’t really know about.”

» Isabel – “When I watched the first film though I saw it back in my hometown of Melbourne and was I particularly impressed by the CG and the technology used. It was seamless and incredible, very impressive. I loved the pace and the energy of the film.”
